We're often told we should put the past behind us, not dwell in the past, etc…However, ESL students must do just that…to learn the simple past tense. As they learn that regular verbs simply need an —ed suffix, they jump for joy. Then we hit them with the endless lists of irregular verbs to study, and their enthusiasm deflates like a balloon before your very eyes. Lead in to past simple: Yesterday, I talked to her.
Daniele Costa, 22, Lawrenceville, Virginia. After 20 years of working as a legal assistant in a solo practitioner law firm, the attorney I worked with decided to close his practice to join a larger firm. I found myself in the unfortunate position of needing to find a job at the age of 65, but I didnt have a current resume. I thought Id be retiring from the law firm, so I hadnt had any need to keep my resume current. I knew Marvin from church, so I reached out to him at #GetNoticed Resume Writing and More so he could assist me with a resume. Marvin is very professional and knows the right questions to ask in order to write a professional resume that will get you noticed. Thankfully, I didnt need the resume at that time because I started working part time with a company that decided to offer me a full time position. I know, though, that if the need arises I will have a professionally written resume to present to a prospective employer. I know that I can contact Marvin to update my resume if the need arises. I highly recommend Marvin and #GetNoticed.

In Italian grammar, the participio or participle, is, together with the infinitive and the gerund, an unfinished verb mode: On its own, it does not define the person doing the acting or even the tense of the action, until it is put to use in a sentence. Almost all verbs have participles, present and past there are exceptions, and some have one but not the other. Some examples of those that have both are parlare , with parlante present and parlato past ; sapere , with sapiente present and saputo past ; agire , with agente present and agito past. The participio presente is used a bit less frequently and generally as an adjective or a noun for example, amante : "lover" as a noun or as an adjective.
